Free Birds

Jamaica day 4!
Sun sun sun. Again. Of course! I love being in the sun. And the water is amazing. It's like swimming in silk. Me and Albin went on a little snorkelling tour along the cliffs. Saw a couple of puffer fish and some other fun stuff. Found a coconut floating around which we quickly turned into an underwater football. Fun!

We went to a Jamaican restaurant nearby that Drew had recommended for pizza. We weren't too hungry so decided to order two pizza's to share between the four of us. Turned out one would have been enough - those were probably the biggest pizza's I have ever seen. But they were yummy!

After lunch we had a bit of a rainy afternoon, so we decided to have a siesta. Everyone went resting, sleeping or watching movies. Me and Valle watched "Free Birds" - an animated movie about turkeys going back in time to stop Thanksgiving. It was actually a lot of fun. "Man, those are some angry birds!"

We then went to Alfred's on the beach where we had dinner and where one of the girls from Drew's band were supposed to sing with another one of her bands. Dinner was so-so and the band that started playing didn't even have a singer, and pretty much sucked. After listening for about 40 minutes and finishing our food and drinks we decided to leave and went for a walk on the beach. (We then found out that her band had gone on stage about ten minutes after we left... of course.) The walk however was really nice, the moon was up, smiling at us and the whole place smelled like weed. In all it was very relaxing.

On the way over there we'd ridden with a very energetic taxi driver. The guy who drove us back was his complete opposite and very calm and friendly, which pretty much summed up the end of our night. We got back home at about a quarter past eleven, which is by far the latest we've gone to bed since we got here. The sun really leaves you tired by the end of the night! And I guess we are still a bit jet lagged. Which at this point I don't mind - the sun sets pretty early and it's nice to get up and get as many sun-hours as possible. Sweet dreams!
